The La Sportiva TX2 Evo Approach Shoe is the perfect lightweight and low bulk leather approach shoe with Vibram MegaGRIP rubber. If you're after something more minimalist to get into the crag, hop about the rocks and maybe do some low angle climbing in, the La Sportiva TX2 is sweet. They also make awesome multipitch walk in / walk out shoes as they have Sportiva's heel connecting strap which straps them neatly together to attach to your harness. If you were a fan of the old Guide Tennie's then these are similar but with better support and cushioning.
